Thursday 4 April, 2013: Three Days Old
We brought our baby home today!
I was a mix of nervous and excited. At the hospital I felt insulated from the world and felt I was free to focus on nothing but my little girl. I was worried that the reality of day to day living would make the perfection and wonder somehow disappear or fade away.
I was silly because bringing her home was wonderful.
