Tuesday, 9 April 2013: 8 days old.

I’m definitely savouring every minute with Ayla – she’s growing and changing so quickly it’s like reading a great book where I’m desperate to turn the page but never want the story to finish – but the one thing I can’t wait for is to see if Ayla’s eyes will turn blue!

She looks so much like her Dad and cousins; with her dark hair, olivy skin, juicy lips and button nose, that I’d love to see a little bit of me in her face.

The consensus is that she has my ears and feet (lucky about the ears, not so lucky about the feet!) but for her to have blue eyes would be amazing 🙂
