Tuesday, 16 April 2013: Fifteen Days Old.

Awake time is the best!

After waking up and having a feed, Ayla gives us at least an our of precious awake time.

She’s so alert when she’s awake, and I can see her mind working like a sponge to suck up every last detail around her.

Ayla also uses awake time to practice her facial expressions and I can see it won’t be long before she’s smiling up at us.

What I love most of all about awake time though, is when her tiny hand tries to wrap itself around my finger… but it doesn’t quite reach.
