Thursday, 18 April 2013: Seventeen Days Old.

I wouldn’t have thought it possible, but it seems Ayla is getting cuter every day.

I think it’s because she’s starting to show her personality, and her facial expressions are becoming more intentional and less coincidental.

Ayla’s eyes are also starting to focus now, so when she stares up at us it feels like she’s trying to tell us a story or share a special secret with us.

It’s clear now that Ayla even has her own little way of sneezing, yawning, stretching and telling us she’s hungry and every time we hear her our hearts just melt and everything around us seems to disappear.
