Sunday, 21 April 2013: Twenty Days Old.

For the past six days Ayla has enjoyed the company of her Grandma and Great Grandma; that meant four generations of women all together.

It’s been lovely to know Ayla has had this special time with her grannies, and although I’m sure there’ll be many more (and some of them very soon) these early days are so precious and important.

I probably won’t ever know hard it is for my Mum and Grandma to live away from Ayla, especially when she’s so tiny and growing so fast.

But I do know it was awful when we all had to say goodbye (for now) tonight.
