Wednesday, 7 July 2013: One Hundred and Twenty Eight Days Old
Playtime with Ayla is starting to become so much fun!
Now that Ayla can grab and hold her toys, she’s much more interested in what they do, how they sound, and how they feel and taste.
This means I get to squeak, rattle and honk my way through the day much to Baby Ayla’s delight and amusement.
Ayla’s also starting to love it when I tell her stories, especially the one about the three little piggies and the big bad wolf who huffs, and puffs, and blows their houses down.
I love watching Ayla’s face as I switch between voices and wave my hands about to act out important “scenes”.
More often than not Ayla lets out a chuckle at the chinny-chin-chin part, which for her means a giant smile and a “haha” noise that makes her shoulders shrug with each syllable (sorry if I didn’t explain that too well, but trust me; it’s cute!!)
