Tuesday, 20 August 2013: One Hundred and Forty One Days Old.

One of my biggest concerns when I was pregnant was how I’d make the transition from party girl to parent.

But tonight I realised that it wasn’t really a transition at all – its been more like an improvement, and its all thanks to Baby Ayla.

Tonight Hubby and I entertained friends for the first time in a long time and it was lovely.

I spent the day cleaning, cooking and tidying, all with Baby Ayla by my side keeping me company.

And then during dinner I didn’t have to worry for a moment that Baby Ayla might be irritable or difficult… because she rarely is.

Ayla makes being a mother fun, free and easy… just like the life of a party girl. Only better.
