Wednesday, 6 November 2013: Two Hundred and Nineteen Days Old.

I think Baby Ayla is going through another growth spurt because all she’s done today is eat and sleep.

It’s actually worked out pretty well for me though because I’ve been running around the house getting ready for our interstate trip tomorrow and Sleeping Ayla is very low maintenance compared to Awake Ayla.

At seven and a bit months old Ayla still hasn’t cracked the eight kilo mark and she’s still wearing size 000 clothes (except on the bottom though where her chubby legs call for a size 0!)

She’s healthy and growing well, loves her milk and is slowing learning to eat food instead of play with it, but its like her body needs to catch up to her mind.

Ayla is so smart! I know everyone says that about their kids, but Ayla knows exactly what’s going on and what it means for her.

Not a day goes by that I don’t find myself shocked by her cheekiness or her cleverness and I can see she’s right on the cusp of becoming a walking, talking cuteness machine!
