Tuesday, 15 October 2013: One Hundred and Ninety Eight Days Old.
Ayla discovered her feet weeks ago, but today she started eating them.
Argh – So cute!! I love my Baby Ayla so much and to watch her learn about the world is just the best thing ever.
Lately Ayla’s learned or done
something new every day and its just so exciting; she’s literally growing in front of my eyes.
I’m so lucky to have this time with Ayla and I’m grateful that I live in a country where I can enjoy special moments like this without worrying about things that shouldn’t matter, like money.
I know staying at home with a baby doesn’t work for everyone, but for me it’s one of the most special times in my life.
Every morning I wake up excited to find out a little bit more about who my Baby Ayla is as a person, and I relish her little discoveries like this one today.
She is beautiful! My 4 month old just discovered his feet last week and putting his toes in his mouth is his new favorite hobby. Too cute!
Thanks Johanna! What’s your little ones name? Its funny how the simplest things can be so amazing – to them and us!
My little bundle of joy is named Rory Deklan. A little Irish boy 🙂
I love her little tuft of hair! It is magical being a stay at home mom and I can relate to finding something new each day that they learn. It is hard to stop watching them long enough to get anything done!
I love it too Kayla. Funnily enough I didn’t think I would but now I can hardly imagine returning to work!
Agreed! I had this brilliant idea to fill in a few mornings through November and I regret it every minute! It was just enough to scratch the itch and remind me I DO NOT want to go back!
I’m not due back until mid-April, thank goodness, and Ayla will be one then. I don’t know if that will make it easier or harder though! I hope it’s not too bad for you, at least you’ll get to come home to HUGE baby smiles 🙂
